PinTagGo, operated by EmVi Apps, LLC ("EmVi Apps," "PinTagGo," "we," "our," or "us"), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights when using the PinTagGo mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "App").

Your use of the App is also governed by the PinTagGo Terms of Service & End User License Agreement (EULA).

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

a. Account Information

Information provided during account creation, including your email address and, depending on your chosen sign-in method, your name.

If you choose Sign in with Apple and enable Apple's Hide My Email feature, Apple may provide us with a private relay email address instead of your personal email address.

b. Profile Information

  • Profile photo (optional, if uploaded by you)

c. Location Data

  • Precise or approximate location data when you choose to log a location ("pin")

  • Location data is collected only when you actively use location-based features.

d. Usage & Analytics Data

We collect limited analytics information to improve the App, which may include:

  • App interactions

  • Device type

  • General usage behavior

This information may be processed through services such as Firebase.

e. Purchase Information

If you choose to subscribe to a paid plan, we may receive information related to your purchase, including:

  • Subscription status

  • Purchase confirmations

  • Transaction identifiers

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store your payment card or financial account information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account

  • Authenticate your account and sign-in method

  • Allow you to save and organize locations ("pins")

  • Enable sharing of pins with other users or via shared links

  • Improve App performance and user experience

  • Monitor and analyze usage trends

  • Process and manage subscriptions and premium features

  • Maintain the security and integrity of the App

3. Location Data Use

Location information is used solely to:

  • Allow you to log and save places you visit

  • Provide accurate pin placement

We do not continuously track your location or collect background location data without your knowledge.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only in the following circumstances:

  • With trusted service providers that process information on our behalf solely to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the App (such as Amazon Web Services, Google Maps, Firebase, and other infrastructure providers)

  • If required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process

  • To protect the rights, property, safety, security, or integrity of our users, the App, or EmVi Apps, LLC

As PinTagGo evolves, we may integrate additional third-party services to enhance App functionality. If we do, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect those changes.

5. Data Storage & Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your information may be stored and processed using secure cloud service providers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the App and its features

  • Maintain your account

  • Comply with legal obligations

  • Resolve disputes

  • Enforce our agreements

  • Protect against fraud or abuse

7. Your Choices & Control

You may:

  • Update or remove your profile information within the App

  • Stop location access at any time through your device settings

  • Delete your account using the account deletion feature available within your profile

When you delete your account, your account information, profile information, saved locations, notes, and other associated data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered, except where we are required to retain limited information for legal, security, fraud prevention, or regulatory purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

PinTagGo is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will promptly delete it.

9. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services, including but not limited to:

  • Google Maps (mapping and location services)

  • Firebase (analytics, authentication, and performance monitoring)

  • Amazon Web Services (cloud hosting and infrastructure)

These third-party providers process information according to their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.

Subject to applicable legal requirements, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the information below.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When changes are made, we will update the Effective Date above. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
